My Aries Food Experiment Kickoff
Last Tuesday I totally crashed after lunch – like face-on-the-keyboard exhausted. Remembered reading somewhere that Aries folks (that’s me!) burn through energy fast. Dug up this astro-nutrition idea and thought “Heck, why not try eating like a ram?” Grabbed my grocery list and sharpie.
What Actually Went Down
First morning hit me with that classic Aries headache. Skipped my usual coffee run and boiled eggs instead – three of ’em, with a handful of almonds. Weirdly felt more awake by 10am than when I chug caffeine. Lunch was the real test though.
Ditched my sad desk sandwich. Chopped up:
- Like a kilo of spinach (felt very Popeye)
- Beef strips fried super quick – got that impatient Aries cooking style
- Mango chunks for sweetness because rules are boring
Snack attack came hard at 3pm. Instead of candy, I smashed walnuts with honey on whole wheat toast. Teeth almost broke but energy didn’t crash!
Surprises Nobody Told Me
The spice thing actually works? Normally hate cooking but tossed red pepper flakes on everything Thursday. Felt like I could wrestle a bear (just kidding, but did finally clean my garage).
Biggest shock: normally I inhale pasta. Swapped for lentil soup Friday night. Didn’t miss carbs and woke up without that gross food-hangover feeling. Wild!
One Week Later Real Talk
Still eating eggs every dang morning – getting sick of ’em but my energy’s stable. Keeping this spinach addiction though. Surprised how much less I’m snacking when I eat that Aries-approved protein early.
Pro tip: batch-cook that spicy beef on Sundays. Almost ditched the plan Wednesday when chopping took forever. Now everything’s pre-chopped in fridge boxes.
Honestly? Feels like putting premium gas in a race car. Less afternoon crashes, fewer “where are my keys?!” moments. Might stick with this ram-fuel diet after all.
